Hey y'all,
i had no idea that content creation could be such a tedious thing... Like there's all these amazing things in my mind and in my head but how to bring it out , which of them i should bring out, etc, its tricky, especially because i literally jump from one topic to another like i'm freestyling or somethin' .
Sometimes my attention span is just so low, that's why i like to keep my posts short for you and if you keep your posts short for me too, that would be epic. lol. About the lack of pictures on my site for now, i want Gathering of Indigo to be all about the content for now. Let's just like talk about stuff, not people saying "hey, i like the image you used. where did you get it, bla bla bla". Like let's talk real stuff. Anyone who finds this boring isn't my tribe anyway so i don't mind. You love it, you stay. You don't love it, you go else where and check for something you love better.
Over the weekend, i'll work on some content.... You don't mind that i'm learning on the job , right? lol.... i catch up very fast. Smart like that. i'd suggest that you tell me what you would like to read but you aren't here yet sooo...... i'll take care of things here until you come along.
Remain awesome, i'll be back with stuff deeper than this by next week, lol. Have an amazing time, share only the vibrations of love.
Namaste {I bow to the god within you},
Call me Indigo.
Gathering of indigo is about sharing concepts with a spiritual twist hopefully. Its bringing together pagans especially and people with special spiritual beliefs. It's a gathering for the awakened and awakening, the enlightened and on the way to enlightenment. Its about Life and Love because really Life and Love is God.

Can I Love More Than One Person At The Same Time?
Absolutely! Yes! This
is one of the most confused concepts of our present time. Take the issue of
soul-mates for example, in a world of over hundreds of billions of people, it’s
only logical that each person has at least ten soul-mates in this earth realm.
How i come to this conclusion is a write up for another day. If a person has up
to ten soul-mates, it’s only natural to assume that they might meet about two in
a lifetime although most people meet just one and some never meet any. At the
same time, a person can have a surreal relationship, an ecstatic relationship with
a person or people who are not ones soul-mate , that just widened the gap,
didn't it?
Ever thought of the capacity to love put in each human
heart? Ever thought of the fact that the entire human race is called to love?
Ever thought of the fact that those who have poured out love tend to be really
successful even in things people would normally not patronize? Love abounds and
in a bible scripture, it says, God is Love, turning that around would mean,
Love is God.
So many times, we have loved a person so hard that when we
lost them, we thought we would never love again but we did eventually love
again and this time even harder than we first loved. This is because our
capacity to love is limitless, it’s beyond comprehension. A mother with six
kids loves all of them so much that if the house is on fire and four of those
kids are out, she is ready to risk her life for the other two kids still
inside. Were you expecting me to use the five to one analogy there? I didn't
because some smarty pant might say cause the one trapped in the house was her
favourite. So, don’t stifle yourself, you can love as many people as life
throws to you and at whatever time.
Am always eager to
read what you have to say.

Activism / Activist
Its often overwhelming the amount of injustices to be fought against in the world, in my country
(Nigeria) and yet how little people are willing to join this fight to the death
if it comes to that.
Even i who is willing to fight (not yet to the death
though) gets confused about what to fight. What remains the absolute truth
however is that we must each join in to fight for something, anything. You may
fight to eradicate ugliness and you may also fight to bring in beauty. We must
all leave this earth knowing we did something, however little to make the
planet better for the future, for our conscience. Our efforts should also not be
scattered because scattered effort means scattered results.
(“henceforth i will use ‘i ‘very often
because i need you to make a personal decision. Think of you as a person with
your unique traits and interests, what will you fight for / against?”)
What then do i fight against or for (as the case may be)? Do
i fight against domestic violence? Do i fight for the woman who lives in
constant terror of her husband yet dares not leave out of fear of him but also
for her children, for her two year old child, for fear of her community and the
shaming that will ensue from her leaving her husband’s house? For the woman who many a time is hospitalized
from the brutalization of society on her husband which he so indelicately
writes upon her body?
Do i fight Against jungle justice? Against
violence of all kinds perpetuated against women? Against rape and rapists? For
the little five year old girl whose childhood is being taken forcefully away
from her by a thirty year old man? For the daughter whose father, supposed to
protect her, defiles her night after night? For the innocent teenager caught
out late at night due to traffic or finding her way to the church for a night
vigil or a 5am program? Will i fight Against sexual harassment? Against
lecturers who insist on sex to give a student the marks they already deserve?
Against employers of labour who peddle their employees like sex workers and in
turn use their employees sexually? Against unemployment especially for ladies?
Against institutions that are gender biased either openly or hidden? Against all injustices against women?
Do i
fight to bring education, specialized education ( Computer skills, business
know-how, etc) to women and men of all kinds? Against early marriage? Against marriage
without the consent of the lady supposed to be getting married? Do i fight for
homosexuals who are denied their right to love freely and openly? Against the
politicians who use our young boys as thugs, who steal the nations funds and
throw the rest of the nation and its populace into penury while enriching other
countries?
Do i fight against our fallen institutions especially the
educational sector that annually delivers half-baked graduates who can’t tell
the difference between short-term rewards (e.g. N5000 to vote in a criminal)
for long-term hardships (e.g. the criminal enters power and throws the entire
nation into chaos) and short-term hardship (e.g. saving up your pennies and
even skipping meals so you can pay for a certain training course ) for
long-term reward(e.g. Going higher in your career hence ability to attract
better opportuinities for your life ). Do i fight against religious bodies that
swindle people of their hard earned money whilst at the same time refusing to
teach the people how to make money?
Do i fight against a system that teaches
the value of materialism above integrity and hardwork? A system that teaches
girls that they are only worth what is between their legs, only worth the
complexion of their skin, only worth the rich married man that graces their
beds now and again and graces their bank accounts while their conscience is
sold for today? Etc .
There is so much to
fight, yet to be effective we must fight predominantly one, one goliath for
each David girl and boy, woman and man. What will your goliath be? What will
you fight for?

God Is Gender Fluid
God is
Gender Fluid.
Yes, i just said that and it’s absolutely true. God has no
gender, God is a spirit, neither male nor female. However God can be to you
whatever gender you choose.
The patriarchy went for a masculine God
understandably because they looked at the formidability of the high hills and
mountains, the pride and intimidation of the tall Iroko trees, the almost life
threatening apparition of a fast flowing waterfall, i could go on and on.
The
matriarchy went for a feminine God after observing the delicateness and fragile
nature of a blossomed flower, the attention to detail and play of colours seen
in the birds, even the smallest of the birds, the emotions that flood not just
the human eyes but the eyes of almost every animal, etc.
As for me i choose to
see God as feminine, i call God, Mother. It resonates with me, and though i
know She has no gender, my human nature to “genderlise”(yup, i think i made up
this word) everything and everyone keeps me loving my Female God.
As further proof for if not all the religions but for
Christians, there is nowhere in the Bible where God ever introduced the God
self in any gender. You are free to flood in my comment box with scriptures
from the bible to buttress your opinion.

The Secret To Life.
What is the secret to life? What makes one person happy and
another person sad? What makes one rich and another extremely impoverished? Why
does one laugh and another cry? What is the secret to power, to enthusiasm, to
joy, to courage? What is the secret that makes the world go round?
It’s simple, the
secret is that there is no secret or may i say, the secret isn’t so big a
secret after all. It’s simply choices. That’s it. The choices we make turn out
to make our life. So first we make the choice, and then the choice makes us.
Tada! As easy as ABC, won’t you say?
Choices, that’s the big secret of life. Good choices = Good
life. Bad choices = Bad life. Spiritual choices = Spiritual life. What
influences your choices though? Your choices are majorly influenced by the
information and things you’re exposed to, it’s influenced by the people whose
approval mean the world to you, it’s influenced by your environment, what is
cool, what is not? Peer pressure (Adults face this more than teenagers but
that’s a post for another day...), etc.
When your life isn’t what or where you
want it, it’s time to go down to the choices you’ve been making and change
them. If changing your choices proves tricky or difficult, go still deeper and
change the influences around you. For example you could change the people you
spend the most time with, you could change the books and media you’re exposed
to, etc. Changing your influences will greatly help changing your choices and
eventually changing your habits (which are directly a function of your previous
choices anyway) which eventually completely change your life.
In your spiritual journey, the choice to meditate for a few
minutes daily, the choice to read whatever spiritual material you can daily or
weekly, the choice to pursue yoga as not just a physical exercise but as a
spiritual exercise as well would go a really long way.
